On May 28, an examination was held at the taekwondo club Tajanas Kaunas – holding taekwondo belts.

21 January. Taekwondo club Taoyuan athletes participated in international competitions in Germany- Reutlingine city- CRETI Cup 2017. These competitions attended by athletes from all over Europe. Total competitions attended by 499 athletes from 63 clubs.

Our club was represented by 6 athletes. In this race was really good for these athletes:

• Orestui Žukauskui won 1st place, defeating 3 athletes,
• Mantas Butkus won 1st place,
• Povilas Morkūnas won 1st place,
• Justinas Kybartas wob 2st place,
• Dovydas Šlimas 3st place,
• Ugnė Janušauskaitė due to injury could not oppose the German champion which won this match.

December 10th.  Our club athletes competed in taekwondo competitions Klaipeda Open 2016. Most of these athletes fared:

1. Ugnė Janušauskaitė until -45kg won the 1st place, and until -41kg won 2nd place,
2. Mantas Budrys until -59kg won 3rd place, and until -63kg won 2nd place,
3. Orestas Žiupsnys until -73kg won 2nd place, Orestas semifinals knocked out his opponent,
4. Mantas Butkus to -73kg won 3rd place,
5. Matas Juškevičius (children) to -40kg won 3rd place,
6. Nojus Tavoras semifinals fought for the medal and had to accept his opponent’s advantage score 1: 2.
